Claude Terminal

TypeScript November 2025

A cinematic terminal replay library with typewriter animations, 7 visual themes, CRT/glitch effects, and syntax highlighting.

Claude Terminal replays AI conversations with cinema-quality animations. Each message appears character by character with a blinking cursor, code blocks get syntax highlighted via Prism, and the whole thing runs in one of 7 visual themes: Claude Code, Matrix, Cyberpunk, Synthwave, and more.

The CRT and glitch effects are the real showpiece — scanlines, screen curvature, chromatic aberration, all configurable. The Matrix theme rains green characters, Cyberpunk has neon glow effects, and Synthwave gives you that retrowave aesthetic.

Playback controls let you adjust speed (0.5x to 2x), pause, restart, and navigate with keyboard shortcuts. Auto-scroll follows the conversation but respects manual scrolling. Both Framer Motion and React Spring handle the animations.

Built with React 19, Vite, Zustand for state management, and Tailwind CSS 4. There's a full user guide in the docs. This is the project I'm most proud of visually — it makes terminal output feel cinematic.
